Accessibility for all.
Our commitment to making cviic.org usable for everyone, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our commitment
CVIIC wants everyone who visits cviic.org, including people with disabilities, to be able to find information about our services and use the site. We design and maintain the site with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we do
Images that carry information have text descriptions.
Pages use headings, landmarks and labeled links so they work with screen readers.
The site can be used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly outlined.
We use strong color contrast between text and backgrounds.
Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
The full site is available in English and Spanish.
Known limitations
Some older documents in our resource library are scanned PDF files that may not work well with screen readers. Some tools on the site, such as the contact form, the donation page and the reviews section, are provided by other companies, and their accessibility depends on those providers.
If you need any document or information in a different format, please contact us and we will work with you to provide it.
Tell us about a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this site, please let us know. Call us at (559) 666-6446, use our contact page, or visit our office at 5014 E. University Ave., Suite 101, Fresno, CA 93727. Please tell us the page address and the problem you found.
