Equity on the Mall 2021 Webinar: Immigration Enforcement and Unauthorized Practice of Law

Equity on the Mall 2021 Webinar: Panel on Immigration Enforcement and Unauthorized Practice of Law. Central Valley nonprofit organizations held an informational webinar/Facebook Live to discuss two issues of importance to immigrant families and immigrant serving organizations in this region of California: immigration enforcement activities and the persistent problem of the unauthorized practice of law.

The event is part of the 2021 Equity on the Mall events being sponsored by the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund (Sierra Health Foundation).

Participating organizations are members of the Immigration Policy Subcommittee of the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund, which now engages over 150 organizations operating in the San Joaquin Valley.

The participating organizations in the webinar included:

  • Centro La Familia Advocacy Services
  • KIND
  • Radio Bilingue
  • The Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (CVIIC) hosted the event and transmitted live via its Facebook page (https://Facebook.com/CVIICFresno).
