Migration Policy Institute Webinar: A New Era of Immigration Enforcement Unfolds
The Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative (CVIIC) hosted Migration Policy Institute Senior Policy Analyst, Ariel Ruiz, for the presentation, “A New Era of Immigration Enforcement Unfolds,” offered to representatives of Central Valley-based organizations.
The topic of immigration enforcement has been of signficance over the years but it has gained importance during the current administration due to the changes that have taken place in the government’s priorities and in the ways in which enforcement takes place.
Ariel Ruiz presents an analysis of the trends in immigration enforcement at the national level and also discusses the implications of the current changes to California and the Central Valley.
